Course Title:SECURITY – WSQ CERTIFICATE IN THREAT OBSERVATION (RECOGNISE TERRORIST THREAT)

WSQ Certificate in Recognise Terrorist Threat (RTT) is one of the 3 compulsory Basic Licensing Units (BLUs) needed to apply for a security officer license in Singapore.
The three basic licensing modules are:
- Provide Guard and Patrol Services
- Handle Security Incidents and Services
- Recognise Terrorist Threats
This course is for new entrants to the security industry or anyone who is keen to learn about basic security knowledge and skills required to recognise and deal with terrorist threats and incidents, and how to use technology to achieve higher productivity and better outcomes.
By the end of the course, learners are expected to be able to perform the following learning
outcomes:
- Recognise a potential terrorist or activities related to terrorism
- Take preventive actions to minimise terrorism risks
- Manage incidences and emergency situations related to terrorism
- Review and report collected information to relevant authorities
A Statement of Attainment (SOA) will be awarded to the individual when he successfully completed each module and assessed to be competent.
Application / Entry Requirement
- Candidates must be above the age of 16 at the time of application.
- No minimum educational requirements. However, candidates must meet the required workplace literacy and numeracy level and should possess the relevant assumed skills and knowledge.
Course Duration: 2 days + 2 hours of assessment

SG Citizen Aged 21-39 or SG PR aged 21 & above (exclude GST) : SGD 250.00
SG Citizen aged 40 & above (exclude GST) : SGD 150.00
