WSQ Certificate in Manage Disorderly Conduct and Threatening Behaviour is one of the 2 mandatory courses for a Security Officer to be promoted to the rank of Senior Security Officer, the other being Security Surveillance Management.
This course aims to equip learners with the basic knowledge and skills required to apply procedures appropriate to emergency situations or incidences involving disorderly conduct and threatening behaviour.
By the end of the course, learners are expected to be able to perform the following learning
outcomes:
- Prepare for work activities
- Deter threatening behaviour through visible security presence
- Deal with disorderly / threatening behaviour
A Statement of Attainment (SOA) will be awarded to the individual when he successfully completed each module and assessed to be competent.
Application / Entry Requirement
- Candidates must be above the age of 16 at the time of application.
- No minimum educational requirements. However, candidates must meet the required workplace literacy and numeracy level and should possess the relevant assumed skills and knowledge.
Course Duration: 2 days + 2 hours of assessment
