WSQ Certificate in Perform Investigation Activities in Compliance with Legal Requirement is mandatory for learner who wants to be licenced as a private investigator in Singapore. This course is also useful for security executive/manager or security officers who wish to apply investigative skills at the workplace to enhance their effectiveness in handling various situations or incidences when carrying out security duties and assisting authorities in their investigation when incident occurs.
This course aims to equip learners with the knowledge and abilities to perform investigation activities in compliance with legal requirements.
By the end of the course, learners are expected to be able to perform the following learning outcomes:
- How to interpret job roles and responsibilities of an investigator
- How to comply with legislative requirements when conducting investigative assignments
- How to conduct surveillance
- How to prepare and submit investigation log sheet
- How to give evidence in court
A Statement of Attainment (SOA) will be awarded to the individual when he successfully completed
each module and assessed to be competent.
Application / Entry Requirement
- Candidates must be above the age of 16 at the time of application.
- No minimum educational requirements. However, candidates must meet the required
workplace literacy and numeracy level and should possess the relevant assumed skills and knowledge.
